A new Teamfight Tactics (TFT) update is almost here, and this time, it includes the Set Revival: Remix Rumble game mode and more. It should be noted, however, that Stephen “Mortdog” Mortimer from Riot Games won’t be posting a patch rundown. During a livestream, he revealed that the 14.3 rundown was his final one for a while.

TFT patch 14.4 release date

The next TFT patch is set to arrive on May 14. Patch highlights include buffs to Kog’maw, Illaoi, Shyvana, Skarner, Elise, Zeri, Miss Fortune, Renekton, and Kobuko. Meanwhile, nerfs go to Naafiri, Twisted Fate, Brand, Neeko, and Vex. There are also changes to traits, augments, and items alongside some bug fixes.

TFT 14.4 patch rundown

As noted, this TFT update doesn’t come with a patch rundown or preview from Mortdog himself. As he previously shared, TFT 14.3 was his final rundown for a while. He’s stepping away from patch rundowns, time spent on X, and streaming due to burnout and being the target of player frustrations.

“The last few weeks, months, have been really rough in the spotlight as the target for a lot of the frustrations around TFT,” he said on April 28. “All you have to do is click on any one of my Twitter posts recently and read the replies.”

Ahead of the official release of patch 14.4, some players pieced together predictions based on the public beta environment (PBE). TFTtomus, for example, listed the PBE details. Players such as FenrirButGaming and Kitkatman111 also went over them in detail following Mortdog’s announcement about taking a break.

That’s all for now. Stick around on esports.gg for more news and updates.
