Excited for the PvE TFT game mode? Here’s a quick explainer of Tocker’s Trials.

Riot Games is introducting a PvE (Player vs. Enemy) game mode for Teamfight Tactics! Check out what we know about the new TFT PvE game mode "Tocker's Trials" here.

TFT PvE: Tocker's Trials

Tocker's Trials is a part of the current Magic n' Mayhem set. This means that you will be able to play with the same mechanics, systems, and augments as with the regular PvP TFT. Charms, however, aren't present.

According to the blog post on the official Teamfight Tactics site, this game mode is highly experimental. Tocker's Trials is the brainchild of the TFT team as they explored how to expand on the already existing PvE rounds. "We weren't sure if it was something we'd even end up shipping," said Riot Jonathon "More Synergy" Stebel. "When the dust settled, though, we wended up with something we think is prettydang fun, and we're excited to share it with TFT players around the world."

How does it work?

Firstly, you queue up solo. No teammates, just you. This means you can leisurely take your time to plan your board, since nobody's waiting on you. Feel free to stay unbothered, in your lane, focused, and flourishing in Tocker's Trials.

A game will consist of 30 rounds, during which you will face 6 bosses. Instead of HP, you have Lives. Three losses will spell your doom.

As you get through each round, you rack up points. Do your best for a high score and gain ultimate bragging rights among your TFT-head friends.

If Normal mode was too easy for you, there exists Chaos mode.

When will Tocker's Trials be available?

Players can enjoy the TFT PvE goodness when it goes live on August 27, 2024 with patch 14.17.

It will be available for two patches before rotating out on September 24, 2024 with patch 14.19.
