China proved once again to be the dominant region in Teamfight Tactics. They have three representatives in the final lobby looking to take back the crown from North America. In addition to that, two more representatives from China were in the top 16. NA's couldn't quite keep the momentum that they had from Day 1 but still ended with three players in the top 12. The hopes of defending the title rests on Wasianiverson's shoulders. EMEA showed a strong performance this time around, and has two representatives in the final lobby.

The regions that have one representative in the final lobby are not new faces. Altenahue, in his second appearance at the world championship would like to surpass is 6th place finish from the Set 6 Gizmos and Gadgets Championship. Title, with his third appearance at the world championship, is looking to top his 2nd place finish from Set 7 Dragonlands with the Runeterra Reforged trophy.
