How online ranked play works

In Street Fighter 6, there are five different ranks within each league. The leagues include Rookie, Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Master. As for the ranks themselves, they go from one to five. As an example, if you're in the Platinum league, then the ranks are Platinum 1, Platinum 2, Platinum 3, Platinum 4, and Platinum 5.

How to rank up in Street Fighter 6

To rank up and reach a higher league in Street Fighter 6, you must win matches and earn League Points. These League Points are separated by each individual character. For example, this means you can simultaneously be in the Platinum league with JP yet in the Rookie league with Jamie.

Street Fighter 6 league demotion

As you progress through the leagues and ranks, you can take advantage of win streaks. However, take note that these win streaks are not available in every league. Additionally, league demotions exist in the game.

In the Rookie league, you don't lose League Points upon defeat. This means you can eventually climb out of it. Meanwhile, between Iron and Gold, there is no league demotion.

However, once you reach Platinum, you can get demoted back to Gold again. It's a similar situation from Diamond to Platinum. After you hit Master, then you're safe from league demotions.
