Street Fighter 6 is in the midst of a pretty wonderful period right now. The community is generally happy with the battle balance and the game mechanics. New characters create a lot of hype among the players. And the competitive side of things makes SF6 the most successful modern fighting game.
An absolutely mind-blowing number of participants registered for Street Fighter 6 Evo 2025 — 4,242. Even TEKKEN 8 gathered 2,555. Sure, absolutely exceptional skills are needed to survive this level of competition, make it to the final brackets, and win the tournament.
The stakes at this event are also extremely high. Direct qualification to Capcom Cup 12 and the EWC 2025 is a totally unique chance. And on top of that, being an Evo Champion is a glorious achievement on its own.

C. Viper is coming to Street Fighter 6. Outfits 4
The next DLC character joins Street Fighter 6 in just a couple of days after Evo 2025. Sagat, the Emperor of Muay Thai, is a welcome addition to the roster.
Right after him, we receive C. Viper. During Evo 2025, Capcom revealed the first trailer of this character. C. Viper is coming to SF6 in Autumn 2025.
In addition to this C. Viper, Capcom treats players to Outfit 4 for SF6 characters. These costumes are great for hot seasons.

- Phenom is one of the strongest fighting games players in Europe. He was 3rd at DreamHack Dallas 2024.
- Leshar won Combo Breaker 2025 and CEO 2025.
- AngryBird won SF6 Evo 2023. He was 4th at the Capcom Cup 11.
- Xiaohai is the SF6 Esports World Cup 2024 Champion.
- Micky is a new player at the top esports scene. The result at Evo 2025 boosted Micky to the level of FGC celebrities.

MenaRD is the Street Fighter 6 Evo 2025 Champion
The legendary player took Blanka to all his matches in the top 8 brackets. MenaRD lost only one game in his exceptional run — the very first one to Phenom. The adaptation turned out to be brilliant, as MenaRD destroyed the opponent after that.
In the winners final, MenaRD faced the Capcom Cup 11 Champion. Playing against setups of Kakeru’s JP is never easy, and three games were finished only in the final rounds. MenaRD won them all.
In the grand final, MenaRD did not need those difficulties. He lost no round and no game to claim his Evo 2025 Champion title.
Micky is a great discovery of this tournament. The guy defeated AngryBird, Fuudo, and Phenom during his run. This is quite impressive!
As MenaRD and Kakery already qualified for both Capcom Cup 12 and SF6 EWC 2025, the spots go to Micky. These tournaments will be another chance to see this player in the harsh competitive environment.

The Street Fighter 6 Esports World Cup 2025 happens from Aug. 20 to Aug. 23. The Last Chance Qualifier is from Aug. 14 to Aug. 16
The next Premier qualifier for the Capcom Cup 12 is Ultimate Fighting Arena 2025, from Sept. 12 to Sept. 14.
