The popular creator has announced an indefinite hiatus from the internet following his online debate with sneako.

Popular YouTuber MoistCr1TiKaL (also known as penguinz0) has announced an indefinite hiatus from the internet following his online debate with Sneako. The two creators went at it recently in a livestream, having a heavy discussion about trans rights and the transition of children.

MoistCr1TiKaL, who strongly pushes for trans rights, was met with quite a bit of backlash on the internet from Sneako fans and more.

MoistCr1TiKaL to take a break from the internet after debate with Sneako

In the recent livestream, the two talked about their feelings about children being able to transition. Sneako, at one point, made a comment about castrating a child, which MoistCr1TiKaL claims to have believed was just a joke at the time.

"I assumed Sneako was talking in hyperbole about a nine-year-old getting their d*ck cut off because I didn't have the assumption that anyone thought that is how transitioning works," said MoistCr1TiKaL.

To actually receive the surgery to transition, you must be 18 in the US. MoistCr1TiKaL's point during the debate was that children should be able to take hormone blockers with parental consent. He was not trying to say that children should be able to get the surgery.

Sneako's fanbase, though, ran with this assumption and attacked MoistCr1TiKaL for it online.

The Boys announce MoistCr1TiKaL's temporary leave

Following the debate and hate that MoistCr1TiKaL received online, the podcast group he is associated with called, The Boys, announced that the YouTuber will be taking a temporary leave of his own will.

"Effective immediately, Charlie (MoistCr1TiKaL) has made the decision to leave both the Official Podcast and Red Thread. He wants to go on an indefinite hiatus to scale back his time spent on the internet," said The Boys on their Patreon.

It would seem that there were no hard feelings between the members of The Boys and MoistCr1TiKaL, as we should expect to see him eventually return.

"We obviously wish him the best, for everyone to respect his decision and for all to know that the show will always be open for him to drop by and talk shop should he wish to return."

Unfortunately, the internet is an unforgiving place, making it difficult for creators sometimes to want to be online.
