Mr. Beast admits to using Inappropriate Language While Trying to Be Funny
A nearly seven-year-old video of Mr. Beast using inappropriate language while interacting with viewers has surfaced. In the video, a young teen Mr. Beast is seen responding to a chat message about ‘selling black people for money’. Mr. Beast responds to that message with “The most I would pay is probably 300.”
“When Jimmy was a teenager he acted like many kids and used inappropriate language while trying to be funny,” according to a MrBeast’s spokesperson’s statement to Variety. “Over the years he has repeatedly apologized and has learned that increasing influence comes with increased responsibility to be more aware and more sensitive to the power of language. After making some bad jokes and other mistakes when he was younger, as an adult he has focused on engaging with the MrBeast community to work together on making a positive impact around the world.”

Racist and Homophobic Comments
In the video, Mr. Beast is seen responding to a user comment about ‘selling (N-word) for money’. He responds with “The most I would pay is probably 300 [dollars]. Sorry, 400 is just out of my price range for that type of thing”. In the latter half of the clip, Mr. Beast asks his chat to stop using the N-word. However, he was also using a homophobic slur during the clip.
The video in question is nearly seven years old - back in 2017 - and Mr. Beast was a teenager back then. In response to the video, Mr. Beast’s spokesperson said he acknowledges using inappropriate language at the time.
The video was posted on Twitter by Rosanna Pansino, a YouTuber and former Mr. Beast collaborator. The video surfaces after the popular Beast Games content creator is under fire for his association with Ava Tyson, who has been accused of grooming minors.
Mr. Beast took to social media to say he was ‘disgusted and opposed to such unacceptable acts’ Donaldson followed up the statement by taking immediate action to remove Ava Tyson from his company. He also said he ‘will allow the independent investigators the necessary time to conduct a comprehensive investigation and will take any further actions based on their findings.’
Meanwhile, there have been complaints from participants of the Beast Games about inappropriate living and eating conditions during the show. The Beast Games will feature 1,000 participants and with a $5 million prize pool. It will launch on Prime Video later this year in December.
