Popular streamer Nick “Lacy” Fosco has departed FaZe Clan, according to organization co-owner Ricky “Banks” Banks.
FaZe Clan owner Ricky "Banks" Banks confirmed the removal of popular streamer Nick "Lacy" Fosco from the organization effective immediately. Although neither party provided a reason, Lacy later confirmed the news in a live stream, adding that this is not a joke but rather serious business.
The internet speculation has taken a mind of its own, but neither Banks, Lacy, nor any other member of FaZe has divulged any additional information.
What happened between Lacy and Banks?
The news regarding Lacy's removal surfaced on Tuesday, May 6, wherein Banks posted, "Lacy's kicked from FaZe," while adding a definitive "Not joking." This post has since garnered 7.4 million views, with many replies questioning the legitimacy and others wondering what unfolded behind the scenes.
Lacy later took to Twitch for a live stream, briefly touching on the subject without providing additional details. "I know everybody thinks it's a big joke. It's not. It's some serious s***." He then moved on from the subject before prematurely ending his stream roughly an hour later.
Given FaZe Clan's track record, it's impossible to say whether this is legitimate. There's a reason the organization has dominated streaming over the last few months. However, we won't know until more comes to light.

How did other FaZe members react to the news?
Lacy's good friend Rani "StableRonaldo" Netz commented on the situation, as fans wondered why he hasn't gone live on Twitch. However, Ronaldo did not provide additional details regarding Lacy's removal from FaZe.
At this point, the genuineness of this falling out remains speculative. Lacy and StableRonaldo will compete in the 2025 Fortnite FNCS Pro-Am on Saturday, May 10, in Los Angeles, CA. This could mean something significant is in the works for this weekend, but we have to wait and see.
Some fans have suggested that AMP and FaZe Clan are swapping their respective streamers, Fanum and Lacy, as both are in a similar situation. Banks later commented on a post by Fanum, who cryptically reacted to his removal from AMP's social media accounts.
