The event runs till January 3. Here’s all that’s new in the Rocket League Frosty Fest 2023.
Rocket League players have something to rejoice as Psyonix has unveiled the Frosty Fest event for 2023. The Winter-themed in-game event will feature a new LTM and a replacement for the infamous ball in the game. Here’s what we know about Rocket League Frosty Fest 2023.
Frosty Fest Challenges and Rewards
To kick things off, Rocket League players can earn special rewards for completing twelve Frosty Fest Challenges. The rewards include new Toppers, Antennas, a Decal, and more.
You can also earn golden gifts, in fact, you can earn up to five Golden gifts for completing some of the more complex challenges. The more difficult challenges include “Play 20 games” which should not be a problem if you are truly a Rocket League fan.
The Frosty Fest event is when Psyonix often rewards players and brings a smile ahead of the holidays. This year is no different as most of the rewards are very easy to get and players can add a few cosmetics to their accounts.
Here are a few cosmetics that will be available this year with the Frosty Fest:
- Curling Stone Wheels
- Curling Stone Topper
- Oh No Snowman Topper
- Mountaintop Octane Decal
Two LTMs that are not currently in rotation will be making a comeback - Winter Breakaway and Speed Demon. Winter Breakaway was first introduced in 2020 and features a Puck instead of the ball. The Speed Demon was introduced right after Season 4 launch in 2021. The game mode, as the name suggests, had an unlimited boost with double strength, a much larger ball, and most importantly, a 1-second respawn time. While this year’s LTMs might see a few changes, the essence of the game modes is to have fun.
