The Group Stage continues for three days, from Aug. 14 to Aug. 16. The last day of groups is the first day of Rocket League EWC 2025 playoffs!
- Thursday, Aug. 14: Opening matches in all four groups
- Friday, Aug. 15: Upper finals and elimination matches
- Saturday, Aug. 16: Final decider matches

The goal for this tournament stage is to advance to the playoffs. The Rocket League teams are divided into four groups. After the double-elimination brackets, two teams from each group earn their tickets to the EWC 2025 quarterfinals.

Teams to watch out for during the Rocket League EWC 2025 Group stage
We can highlight a few obvious favorites at this event: considering their recent international results. Some other Rocket League teams have good potential for upsets.
The biggest favorites
- Team Falcons play on the home ground. After their win at the RLCS 2025 Raleigh Major, Falcons are totally ready to lift the Rocket League EWC 2025 trophy.
- Karmine Corp were strong throughout the entire year. They won the Birmingham Major 2025 and dominated the EU scene.
- NRG are the best Rocket League players in North America. The org signed the former G2 roster, but they couldn’t repeat their London 2024 success yet.
- Team Vitality has the two players and the coach from the winning roster at the Rocket League World Championship 2024 and the Esports World Cup 2024. It feels like they adapted better to the new org in the RLCS 2025 Split 2.

- Dignitas were 2nd at the Raleigh Major
- Twisted Minds are on the rise after signing new players in 2025. They were in the top 8 in both Majors.
- FURIA always demonstrate spectacular Rocket League! They reached the top 4 at the Birmingham Major.
The final matches of the Rocket League Esports World Cup 2025 are on Aug. 16 and Aug. 17. The RLCS 2025 World Championship 2025 is played from Sep. 10 to Sep. 14 in Paris, France.
