FaZe Clan 2:0 Team Secret — Live score from the Six Invitational 2026 grand final

Secret players had a lower-bracket run, and theoretically, they are more pumped for the Six Invitational 2026 grand final. At the same time, FaZe Clan have an emotional advantage of the upper bracket wins. The best-of-five (Bo5) grand final determines the tournament winners.

R6 FaZe Clan: Mighty in the groups, strong in the Playoffs

Even being the upper-bracket winners doesn’t make FaZe Clan invulnerable at Six Invitational 2026. Their run was successful but not flawless.

  • FaZe were #1 in their group. They defeated the top North American opponents, Shopify Rebellion, who were second in the Regional Finals 2025. Still, FaZe lost to G2 Esports.
  • In the Playoffs, FaZe had three matches, and they won all of them. These were battles against the three biggest R6 esports regions: Fluxo W7M from FaZe’s home, Brazil, Wildcard from North America, and Team Falcons from Europe. The final-bracket run brought lost maps to FaZe, but the team also had some dominant games, such as a 7:0 against Falcons on Lair.

Team Secret: A loss and revenge

In the Group Stage of Six Invitational 2026, Team Secret lost no matches. Their playoff run had a disturbing start, which required a brilliant recovery.

  • Rainbow Six Siege X Team Secret lost to the EML Regional Finals 2025 winners, Team Falcons, in the upper quarterfinal. The revenge happened in the lower final — Secret beat Falcons to secure their Six Invitational 2026 grand final spot.
  • Other playoff opponents that fell victim to Secret are G2 Esports, Weibo Gaming, Wildcard, and Fluxo W7M. This run certainly created a nice competitive momentum.

Team Falcons: Heartbreaking in front of the home crowd

The roster of R6 Team Falcons has been built with French players, and Six Invitational 2026 happened in Paris. Still, with the emotional support from the crowd, Falcons could not reach the grand final.

  • Team Falcons still defeated Shopify Rebellion and Team Secret.
  • Then, Falcons lost to FaZe in the upper final and were eliminated by Secret in the lower final.

North American teams to take a step backward

There were high expectations from NA teams after the brilliant win of M80 at the R6 Major 2025 in Munich. The Playoffs did not go too well for the North American participants.

  • M80 lost to Spacestation and G2 Esports in two playoff matches.

Europe: On the shoulders of Secret and Falcons

South America sent Brazilian powerhouses, and most of them did well

After FURIA won RE:LO:AD 2025, Brazilian Rainbow Six Siege X teams couldn’t prove their usual favorites status at the international events. Most of them did well at Six Invitational 2026, though.

  • Fluxo W7M reached the lower semifinal, and they had a real chance for a comeback on map 2 against Secret.
