Upper-bracket favorites and top teams with the risk of elimination
The Group Stage at Six Invitational 2026 brought us unexpected results. Big teams fell to the lower brackets. Underdogs made it to the later Playoff rounds.
Weibo Gaming created arguably the biggest positive surprise in the groups. They start from the upper quarterfinals.
Potentially, Weibo faces FURIA, which should be a tough challenge. In general, FURIA have more favorable odds on esports betting platforms.
Team Secret may face their demons in the upper quarterfinal, Team Falcons. The R6 Siege X Exports World Cup 2025 winners had a better run in the groups, though.
FaZe Clan looked great in their initial matches, but then, they lost to G2 Esports. It was still the best result among all the Brazilian teams at Six Invitational 2026.
It is quite possible that we can see the clash between FaZe and Fluxo W7M during this Playoffs phase.
Wildcard had a great run in the Group Stage. Their next opponents also come from the North America region.
M80, the Munich Major winners, should prove consistency on the international stage to succeed in this challenge.
Lower-bracket abyss
Rainbow Six Siege X esports is beautifully unpredictable, and anyone can find themselves in the elimination zone. It’s rather unusual to see these two teams in the lower brackets right from the beginning of the Six Invitational 2026 Playoffs.
G2 Esports almost got eliminated in the groups. Only a great recovery in the decisive match versus FaZe saved them.
Ninjas in Pyjamas may have troubles in the local Brazilian competition, but they were in the top 8 at the Munich Major 2025. The road ahead is long for NiP to repeat and beat that result.
The arena matches of Six Invitational 2026 Playoffs start on Feb. 13. The Rainbow Six Siege X champions will be crowned on Feb. 15. We sure expect some exciting announcements during this tournament stage!
