The four strongest R6 teams in Brazil reached the top stages of the South American League (SAL) Finals 2026. It's time for FURIA, FaZe Clan, w7m esports, and Team Liquid to determine the regional champions.

Strong regions have a higher chance of succeeding at big international events. R6 SAL Finals 2026 is a great opportunity for the top Rainbow Six Siege X esports teams to get additional tournament practice — and be ready for the soon-coming Six Invitational 2026.
The winners earn a direct invite to this World Championship. But considering high placements of the Brazilian teams on the global R6 leaderboard, winning the SAL Finals is more about extreme training and the glory of being on top in the home region. Still, Team Liquid has not qualified yet.

Battles of the strongest
As a Rainbow Six Siege esports region, South America boosted its power after merging with the Brazilian League. We have only Brazil battling at the top here!
If a team couldn't make it to the top finals, it happened only because the others were better this time. The general level of competition in SAL is mind-blowing.
FURIA, FaZe, and w7m esports were seeded to the upper semifinals.
- In the match against R6 FaZe Clan, w7m esports had to recover from losing on Bank. They brought the battle to the decisive map, and won it confidently — 7:2 on Kafe.
- FURIA absolutely destroyed Ninjas in Pyjamas, winning with 7:1 on Kafe and 7:2 on Lair.
- R6 Team Liquid went through the lower brackets, where they had pretty tough matches against LOUD and NiP.
- In the upper final, FURIA defeated w7m esports with a 2:0. Both maps were competitive, but not extremely close.
Struggles at the Munich Major
The launch of the revamped game Rainbow Six Siege X was successful for Brazil. Rio de Janeiro hosted the first-ever international event, RE:LO:AD 2025, and FURIA won it.
Then, the SAL teams could not reach the grand final at the R6 EWC 2025: European teams took the spots. The Munich Major 2025 did not go very well, either. Team Liquid did not play at that event at all.
- w7m esports couldn't make it even from the Swiss Stage. In the final match, they were defeated by FURIA.
- Ninjas in Pyjamas and FURIA were eliminated in the opening match of the Playoffs. They lost to Wildcard and Team Secret.
- R6 FaZe Clan made it to the upper final, but then lost to Team Falcons and the future champions, M80.
In addition to being an exciting R6 Siege esports show, SAL Regional Finals is a testing ground ahead of Six Invitational 2026. The Brazilian teams should be in full power to face international challenges from Feb. 2 to Feb. 15.
