Remembering the glory days and the third region's fate — Tournament preview
The international Rainbow Six esports scene obviously has a leading region: South America. Brazilian teams win Six Invitationals and Major tournaments quite regularly. Europe can battle them successfully — like it was at the R6 Esports World Cup 2025, where two EU teams made it to the grand final.
North America… Well, it was back in 2022 when a team from this region won the Six Invitational. The disturbing thing is that the Champions organization, TSM, left R6 esports.
Beastcoast won BLAST R6 Major Manchester 2024. The team was acquired by Cloud9, the roster changed since then, and Cloud9 did not make it from the regional Group stage.
Modern era
Looking at the current active rosters, we certainly can see great potential in those players. Knowing their recent achievements may be helpful even for esports betting during the R6 Siege Munich Major qualifiers.
- Spacestation Gaming reached the top 4 at the Esports World Cup 2025. The team was in the top 8 at the Montreal 2024 Major and in the top 6 at the Six Invitational 2025.
- DarkZero were in the top 4 at the Manchester Major 2024. Their international results dropped substantially after that.
- Pretty surprisingly, Wildcard reached the top 4 at RE:L0:AD 2025.
Great international results may come with a high competitive level inside the region. This makes the R6 NAL 2025 Stage 2 Playoffs an interesting tournament to watch.
The North American teams will have a big exam from Nov. 8 to Nov. 16 — during BLAST R6 Major Munich 2025.
