Clash of three regions
One of the biggest stories of this event is the reshaping of the global power balance in R6 Siege X esports. The usual favorites, Brazilian teams, couldn't win or even reach the grand final at the Esports World Cup 2025 (EWC 2025) and the Munich Major. A European team succeeded at the R6 EWC 2025. A North American team won in Munich.
South America / Brazil
There are three Brazilian rosters in the top 6. Two of them face each other in an elimination match.
- FURIA lost to Wildcard during the Group Stage at Six Invitational 2026. Then, the RE:LO:AD 2025 champions were defeated and sent to the lower brackets by Team Falcons.
- Fluxo W7M already lost to another Brazilian team, FaZe, during the Playoffs. Their Group Stage loss was to Team Secret.
- FaZe players have been representing their region the best at Six Invitational 2026, at least until the Finals. They still lost to G2 in the groups, but these opponents are already out. FaZe defeated the best North American team in the playoffs, Wildcard.
Europe
Two teams represent this region. R6 esports experts often name Falcons as the biggest favorites at Six Invitational 2026, and the odds on esports betting sites support this opinion. Sure, no one can guarantee wins in this exciting game!
- Team Secret fell to the lower brackets after losing to Falcons. The R6 EWC 2025 champions were #1 in the group, with no losses.
- Team Falcons had a tough Group Stage, losing to FURIA and Wildcard. In the Six Invitational 2026 Playoffs, Falcons had a revenge on FURIA.
North America
The success of M80 at the Major 2025 in Munich revived the faith of NA fans. M80 delivered a hit at them during Six Invitational, losing to Spacestation Gaming and being eliminated by G2 Esports.
Only one North American team has a chance in the Finals. Each match for them is a risk of elimination.
- Wildcard defeated Spacestation in the upper brackets but then lost to FaZe. Their Group Stage run was flawless.
