The Brazilian powerhouse dominates 60 other teams in the recent official PUBG MOBILE Esports power rankings.
PUBG MOBILE Esports has updated its power rankings, factoring in the results of the recent 2024 PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC). Despite not securing a top ten at the recent tournament, Alpha7 Esports still leads the rankings, concluding 2024 as the best PUBG MOBILE team of the year.
What is the PUBG MOBILE Esports power ranking?
PUBG MOBILE Esports has a ranking system that it introduced last June. Rankings are determined by points secured in the three most recent major PUBG MOBILE tournaments, reflecting wins, placements, and standout performances.
The previous rankings in August were based on teams' performance from the last three major events: the group stage and grand finals of the 2023 PMGC in Turkiye, the main event of the 2024 PMGO in Brazil, and the main tournament of the 2024 PMWC in Riyadh.
After the PMGC 2024 event, the most recent list is updated while considering results from three major events: the main event of the 2024 PMGO in Brazil, the main tournament of the 2024 PMWC in Riyadh, and the group stage and grand finals of 2024 PMGC in England.
The leaderboard is expected to be updated again in April 2025 after the conclusion of the next major tournament, the 2025 PMGO in Uzbekistan.
Alpha7 Esports dominates for three seasons
Despite underperforming in the 2024 PMGC grand finals, Alpha7 Esports remains the top-ranked team, holding this position for three consecutive seasons. The team currently has 823.23 points, down from 939.29 in August.
Their closest competitors, DRX and Regnum Carya Bra, each have 600.26 points. Meanwhile, the 2024 PMGC champions have climbed 19 spots since August, now sitting in fourth place. The complete rankings are available on the official PUBG MOBILE Esports website.

South Korea showcased exceptional performance at the 2024 PMGC. Turkey has also been consistently strong over the past three years. Regnum Carya Bra narrowly missed becoming the 2024 PMGC champions, falling just two points short of the title.
Mongolia’s performance has slightly declined. While 4Merical Vibes and iHC Esports remain in the top 10, the nation previously had three teams ranked among the best. Falcon Force (formerly Stalwart Esports) fell just one spot short of breaking into the top 10.
As a special mention, China, the only country to have ever won the PMGC for more than one time, made a strong comeback with TJB Esports jumping 20 spots to fifth place. Tianba and Thundertalk Gaming also broke into the top 20 following impressive performances at the 2024 PMGC. In August, no Chinese teams were in the top 10.
