Get your hands on Corviknight in Pokémon GO during the Steeled Resolve event.
Rookidee, Corvisquire and Corviknight are all coming to Pokémon GO durin the Steeled Resolve event. This event continues the slow roll-out of Paldea Pokémon throughout the Dual Destiny season. The previous debut was Fidough.
Here is everything you need to know about the Steeled Resolve event.
Pokémon GO Steeled Resolve event
The Steeled Resolve event runs from Tuesday, January 21, at 10:00 a.m. until Sunday, January 26, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
Corviknight debuts in Pokémon GO
The following Pokémon will debut in Pokémon GO during the Steeled Resolve event.
- Rookidee
- Corvisquire
- Corviknight
Once the event starts, Trainers can use 25 Rookidee Candy to evolve Rookidee into Corvisquire and 100 Rookidee Candy to evolve Corvisquire into Corviknight.
You won't be able to find Rookidee just spawning in the wild however. To encounter it, you will either need to place down a Magnetic Lure Module or hatch 2 km Eggs.
Steeled Resolve Pokémon GO Event Bonuses
- You can use a Charged TM to help a Shadow Pokémon forget the Charged Attack Frustration.
- Magnetic Lure Modules will attract different Pokémon during the event, such as Onix, Beldum, Shieldon, and Rookidee.
Event wild encounters
During the Steeled Resolve event, the following Pokémon will spawn more frequently in the wild.
- Clefairy
- Machop
- Totodile
- Marill
- Hoppip
- Paldean Wooper
- Shieldon
- Bunnelby
- Carbink
- Mareanie
All of those Pokémon can be shiny, besides Carbink.

Pokémon GO Steeled Resolve brings Rookidee to 2 km Eggs
During the event Trainers will be able to get special 2 km Eggs. The Egg pool will be as follows in 2 km Eggs acquired during the event.

- Carbink
- Mareanie
- Rookidee
Don't forget that 2 km Eggs obtained before this event starts will not contain this special event rotation.
Steeled Resolve grants featured attacks to certain Pokémon
Additionally, certain Pokémon evolved during the event will get a special featured attack. These are usually reserved for Community Day events or require an Elite TM to access.
- Evolve Machoke during the event to get a Machamp that knows the Fast Attack Karate Chop.
- Evolve Croconaw during the event to get a Feraligatr that knows the Charged Attack Hydro Cannon.
- Evolve Wooper during the event to get a Quagsire that knows the Charged Attack Aqua Tail.
- Evolve Lickitung during the event to get a Lickilicky that knows the Charged Attack Body Slam.
- Evolve Corvisquire (Rookidee’s Evolution) during the event to get a Corviknight that knows the Charged Attack Iron Head.
- Evolve Paldean Wooper during the event to get a Clodsire that knows the Charged Attack Megahorn.
There will also be a special $5 Paid Timed Research, that will grant the event bonus of 2x Hatch Stardust as well as reward encounters with event-themed Pokémon, and give you one Elite Charged TM.
