Shiny Pokémon will appear in Pokémon Champions in the Ranch Recruitment
It was confirmed earlier today (March 25, 2026) that Shiny Pokémon will appear in Pokémon Champions, meaning Shiny Pokémon you send over from Home and those you find in the Ranch Recruitment will be available to battle with.
This is a huge win for the Shiny community, as these people are relentless and will spend days in one area until they find a new Shiny Pokémon.
So, what is the Ranch Recruitment in Pokémon Champions?

The biggest question many have had regarding Pokémon Champions is how will players get new Pokémon for their teams. Well, while we do know that Pokémon Home will be compatible with the game, there has to be another way to catch Pokémon, right?
The answer is, yes, Pokémon Champions will have a brand new way for players to catch Pokémon. It is called the Ranch Recruitment. Players can visit the ranch, finding various Pokémon to catch and train or their team. While details are a bit scarce, it would seem that this method will be similar to catching Pokémon in the regular games.

What we do know, however, is that the ranch will reset every 22 hours with new Pokémon players can catch. There will probably be specific events, like Pokémon GO, where specific Pokémon will be in abundance certain days.
Players will be able to choose one Pokémon a day to use as a trial for their team, but then must spend Victory Points to acquire that Pokémon.
Pokémon Champions is making out to be an extremely unique way to experience Pokémon, and many are anxiously waiting for its release on April 8, 2026.
