Excited for Pokémon Pokopia? The new life simulator game, set to release tomorrow (March 5, 2026), has just announced its first event, hinting at many more to come. Here is everything we know.

Pokémon Pokopia reveals first event, More Spores for Hoppi

What makes the release of Pokémon Pokopia even better is the fact that the game will have limited-time events throughout its run, giving players different Pokémon, materials to build with and more.

The game’s first event has officially been announced today and it is called More Spores for Hoppi.

During the event, players will be able to collect Cotton in the game by befriending Hoppip, Skiploom and Jumpluff. The Cotton can then be exchanged to build habitats to house these three Pokémon.

This is the first of many events for the future, as this one will only be available in Pokémon Pokopia for a limited time.

Release date

Pokémon Pokopia’s first official event, More Spores for Hoppi, begins on March 10, 2026, and runs till March 26, 2026. Those who wish to keep Hoppip, Skiploom and Jumpluff in their world will need to take part in this event, which will let them build the perfect habitat for the three Pokémon.

The most exciting part about this event, is the fact that it leaves quite a few possibilities for the future with other events. Imagine some sort of Legendary Pokémon event, where you get Pokémon such as Kyogre or Groudon. There are endless possibilities with Pokémon Pokopia, making it one of the most anticipated games within the Pokémon franchise.

The game currently costs $69.99 USD and can be bought as a physical copy or a digital copy. While seeming to be a bit pricey, it would look as if this game will have quite a bit of content to explore for ages, making it a game worth investing in.
