Pokémon Legends: Z-A unveil new DLC, Mega Dimension

Lumiose City still has quite a bit left to explore, as Pokémon Legends: Z-A just unveiled a brand new DLC, Mega Dimension, which will release before the end of the year. Here is everything we know about Pokémon Legends: Z-A's upcoming DLC, Mega Dimension.

Ready to explore a new dimension, filled with various new Mega Evolutions? The popular Nintendo Switch (and Switch 2) game just announced its first paid DLC, Mega Dimension, which is set to release this winter.

While the trailer for the DLC did not give us any information on the storyline, we can at least collect from context clues. It looks as if the main characters are transported through a portal to a new dimension that sort of looks like a washed-out Lumiose City.

In that dimension, there are tons of new Mega Evolutions that players will have to take on. Assuming the DLC follows suit from the original game, we will probably see a bunch of Rogue Mega Evolutions, which are Pokémon that have Mega Evolved on their own.

So, when does the new Pokémon DLC, Mega Dimension, launch? And how much will it cost?

At the moment, Mega Dimension, the new Pokémon Legends: Z-A DLC, is set to launch on December 10, 2025. This is perfect for those looking to grab the DLC before the Holidays begin.

The DLC will cost $29.99 USD, which is half the cost of the original game (a little steep, right?). Hopefully, there will be plenty of gameplay for players to indulge in.

Those who purchase the DLC early will also get various rewards, including multiple types of Poké Balls. The code will be available to claim through February 28, 2026, meaning you will not have to buy it directly on launch.
