Pokémon just announced two new events, Pokémon Day Out and Pokémon Night Out. What are these events, though? And when will they take place?

If you didn't catch the Super Bowl last night, the Pokémon Company ran an official ad (featuring various celebrities, including Lady Gaga, Trevor and more) that promoted the company’s 30th anniversary. Directly after the commercial aired, Pokémon announced Pokémon Day Out and Pokémon Night Out.

But, what are these events? Here is everything we know.

Pokémon Day Out and Pokémon Night Out: What are these events?

It’s Pokémon‘s official 30th anniversary, and the company has made it widely known that there will be celebrations all throughout 2026, including new TCG packs, games, Pokémon GO evens and more. There newest announcement, however, is Pokémon Day Out and Pokémon Night Out.

The main question, though, is what are these events?

Well, Pokémon was a tad bit cryptic when announcing the upcoming events, meaning we do not have a lot of information regarding them, but here is everything we know at the moment.

Everything we know about the upcoming events

First off, it looks as if both Pokémon Day Out and Pokémon Night Out will be reoccurring events throughout the year and not just an event that happens once and is done.

Pokémon Day Out has been described as family friendly activities that will take place during different days throughout the year, and Pokémon Night Out will be a series of fun events for longtime Pokémon fans. I’m assuming Pokémon Night Out will take place during different evenings throughout the year, but that is just a wild (not really) guess.

Dates

At the moment, we do not have any dates for Pokémon Day Out and Pokémon Night Out, as very little has been announced regarding the events. However, Pokémon Day is just a few weeks away, and the Pokémon Company will almost certainly speak on the topic, so make sure to check back at esports.gg for more information.
