Huge amount of Pokémon GO move updates will shake the meta

The reveal of these Pokémon GO move updates had the crowd on their feet in Hawaii. These are a huge overhaul to the way that PvP will play out in Pokémon GO. Some of the current staples, like Lickitung, Galarian Stunfisk and Skarmory will likely be replaced.

In their stead will come all sorts of new Pokémon, to keep the meta fresh and most importantly make Pokémon GO PvP accessible. Niantic had been hinting at some of the winners of these changes through their Pokémon GO Twitch Drops.

Some of the Pokémon they are giving away in Day 2's Drops could well be strong Pokémon to use next season. More analysis will take place over the coming days, but this will be a major shakeup for Pokémon GO PvP.
