Don’t miss out.

Pokémon GO Twitch Drops are back, as a reward for watching the Pokémon 2024 North America Championships taking place in Los Angeles.

Pokémon GO is joined by Scarlet and Violet, TGC and Pokémon UNITE. Viewers tuning in to watch any of these tournaments on Twitch will be able to unlock associated rewards.

Here are the steps to redeem your Pokémon GO Twitch Drops:

How to claim Pokémon GO Twitch Drops

To redeem the drop, the first step is tuning into the competition on the Pokémon GO Twitch channel. This works even if they are rebroadcasting the action from earlier in the day, so don't worry about missing the tournament.

You'll need to be watching for at least 30 minutes, after which you will have earned the drop and it will appear in your Drops inventory. To redeem it, you'll need to link your Twitch and Pokémon GO accounts.

Follow these steps to do so once you've watched for the time required:

Pokémon GO 2024 Pokémon NAIC's Champion Timed Research

But, what will those steps get you? You'll be awarded with a Timed Research, inspired by the team that MEWeedle used to win the European Championship earlier this season.

Trainers who get the Timed Research will be able to encounter an Altaria, a key Pokémon in MEWeedle's team. We don't yet know exact details for the other rewards, but past Pokémon GO Twitch Drops have awarded Star Dust, XP and other encounters with current meta Pokémon.

Enjoy, trainers! Stay tuned to esports.gg for the latest esports news and more Pokémon guides.
