Take on Mega Aerodactyl in Pokémon GO with our Raid guide.

Mega Aerodactyl is back in Pokémon GO Mega Raids from August 2 until August 16.

This gives Trainers the chance to grab enough Mega Aerodactyl energy in Pokémon GO to mega evolve any Aerodactyl of their choice. This powerful Mega Pokémon is one of the best Rock-type attackers in the game and has a unique dual typing. That makes it very useful at Mega Level 3, to get Candy and XP bonuses when catching Pokémon.

So, here’s everything you need to know before you take on Mega Aerodactyl in Pokémon GO:

Of course, you can only have one Pokémon Mega Evolved at once in Pokémon GO. That means there are two things to consider. Firstly, Dusk Mane Necrozma is more powerful than a lot of Mega Pokémon, so is a great inclusion. If you had the Fusion Energy, you could have an entire team of Dusk Mane Necrozma! Secondly, any non Mega versions of the Mega Pokémon listed above will also be good Mega Aerodactyl counters in Pokémon GO.
