Is Pokémon FireRed & LeafGreen available for the Switch 2?

With Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen coming to the Nintendo Switch, many have been wondering whether or not the game is compatible with the Switch 2, or if it only works on the regular Nintendo Switch.
