Ultra Beasts take center stage in Extradimensional Crisis, the newest set in Pokémon TCG Pocket.

After the release of Alolan cards in Celestial Guardians, it’s no surprise that the next Pokémon TCG Pocket set will feature more Gen 7 'mons. The newly revealed themed booster pack, Extradimensional Crisis, brings Ultra Beasts like Guzzlord, Blacephalon, and Xurkitree into the fray.

The recently uploaded trailer for Extradimensional Crisis revealed several cards for the set. Most of its cards so far are those that depict the Ultra Beasts, the mythical Pokémon Zeraora, Type: Null, Lusamine (a new Supporter card), a new copy of Shiinotic, and an ex version of Tapu Koko.

Here’s a list of every Ultra Beast card that players can pull from Extradimensional Crisis packs.

  • Buzzwole ex
  • Guzzlord ex
  • Kartana
  • Pheromosa
  • Xurkitree
  • Naganadel
  • Stakataka
  • Nihilego
  • Celesteela
  • Blacephalon

If you haven’t noticed yet, Ultra Beast cards have the unique feature of having the label “Ultra Beast” on the upper-right side of their artwork box. This label will likely become a key target for certain card effects once the set goes live.

Extradimensional Crisis may only feature two Ultra Beasts as ex cards: Buzzwole ex and Guzzlord ex. Ultra Necrozma ex is also part of the lineup, but it’s expected to be available exclusively as a promo card. The Pokémon TCG Pocket trailer showcased every Ultra Beast except Poipole, though its inclusion is already confirmed alongside its Stage 1 form, Naganadel.

Pokemon TCG Pocket's Extradimensional Crisis will launch on May 29, 2025. Like other themed booster packs, Extradimensional Crisis will only feature one type of booster pack, so players don’t need to worry about choosing between two packs when building their collections.

Following the themed booster pack’s release, the game will kick off three special events: an Ultra Beast Drop Event featuring Ultra Necrozma ex, a Wonder Pick Event offering Poipole and Stufful, and an Ultra Beast Mass Outbreak.
