Patch 0.3.0 brings some major changes to Path of Exile 2, not least of which is a massive upgrade to trading.

Path of Exile 2 remains in its alpha stages, but Patch 0.3.0 is about to change things up with a trade system within Wraeclast. With every major patch and new League, PoE2 is evolving, as we edge ever closer to a full release. While the new patch brings with it Act IV, the biggest change comes in the trading department. Patch 0.3.0 for Path of Exile 2 adds a new trader, which allows players to obtain items from others even if they are offline.

Asynchronous Trade is something that players have been requesting for what feels like centuries. Finally, GGG has heard our pleas and has provided us with a system that makes trading simple. With just a single NPC in their hideouts, players can set up shop and sell items while offline. This means that when buying, players no longer need to always worry about staying within their hideout or being afk.

Although this new trade feature in Patch 0.3.0 has no relevance to those playing Path of Exile 2’s Solo Self-Found (SSF) mode, it is a welcome addition for the remaining players in the community. The GGG developers have also promised to ensure that it does not become abused by “bot” issues. A small gold price attached to each purchase counteracts the botting issue.

With PoE 2 now releasing Act IV into its early access journey, fans are beginning to see the shape of the game's goal. While no classes or ascendancies come in Patch 0.3.0, the trade system and much more should make up for this. The inclusion of new Interludes, tons of endgame content, and various bosses, the new patch is paving the path forward for PoE2.

The addition of Sprint for Patch 0.3.0, as well as the trade system, is massive. As Path of Exile 2 continues its early access journey, the game is getting to a massive crescendo. The latest patch is only another step towards its release.
