Timeless Ethereal players win Overwatch 2 Calling All Heroes
Over the weekend, Timeless Ethereal players won the inaugural Calling All Heroes Raidiant Heroes Major 1 tournament. This not only secured them the most circuit points, but also the lion's share of the $10,000 USD prize pool. The two-stage event involved rounds of swiss play before a single-elimination bracket.

After sweeping teams Averted! and Bumblebees 3-0, Timeless Ethereal players advanced to the semifinals. They earned a score of 3-1 against Dart Monkeys before facing NYXL Academy in the finals. When it came down to that match, Timeless Ethereal closed out the tournament with a flawless 3-0 victory!
"I'm really glad that they could get first place this time after losing to Dart Monkeys last time. I'm glad that I could help them win. And I really enjoyed playing the tourney with them," Timeless Ethereal tank player Sawhill said in the post-match interview. Sawhill also hinted at wanting Timeless Ethereal to become a salaried team.
"We're looking to dominate the rest of the Majors we have here," Sawhill said. "Maybe the Minors and Majors, all of them, every tournament, the finals, everything. We're not expecting to lose. And that's about it. We're gonna try to stick together as a team and do what we can to keep winning."

Overwatch 2 Calling All Heroes schedule
Calling All Heroes is an gender-inclusivity initiative that features a bunch of tournaments before a championship event in February 2024. It's a competitive Overwatch 2 circuit that lasts throughout 2023 with Raidiant being the official partner for all of the Major events.
The next Major will happen in July 2023 after a Minor tournament next month. Fans and supporters can catch all of the Overwatch 2 esports action via Raidiant's channels or the game's official YouTube channel.
