Overwatch x Jinkx Monsoon? Here’s the tea!

Jinkx Monsoon, RuPaul's Drag Race (RPDR) Season 5 winner, the Queen of All Queens from RPDR All Stars 7, and Judy Garland in the upcoming End of the Rainbow production, has made a post about Overwatch. Is an Overwatch x Jinkx Monsoon collaboration happening? Here's everything we know about this so far.

On Feb. 18, Jinkx Monsoon posted a photo of herself on X. She posed in front of a neon-lit Overwatch sign. She also used the rock-on gesture in the photo and tagged Blizzard Entertainment.

The Overwatch community responded immediately, with many players indicating that they're fans of both the game and Jinkx Monsoon. Trixirita, for example, replied with a popular meme among RPDR fans featuring Cynthia Lee Fontaine.

"Girl what does this mean cause why are my two favorite things in the world interacting like this," trixirita wrote as a caption to accompany the meme.

Some fans recalled that Jinkx Monsoon is a Moira main in Overwatch while others on X and Reddit theorized that she might voice an upcoming hero. At the time of publishing this article, no official announcements have been made about a potential collaboration. However, the game's official account did reply to Jinkx Monsoon on X.

"We can feel the love coming in from the Monsoon winds," the account stated.

This isn't the first time that Jinkx Monsoon expressed interest in a franchise, either. Back in 2015, she made a post about wanting to voice a gem in Rebecca Sugar's Steven Universe. She showed interest in 2016 as well. Jinkx Monsoon then got her wish as the voice of Emerald in 2018.
