Overwatch Season 1’s midcycle is now live, bringing with it the final week of the Conquest event, a brand-new arcade mode featuring Emre, and a slew of hero updates. Read on for all of the Overwatch Season 1 mid-season patch notes and details.
Overwatch Season 1 mid-season patch notes
Here are the full mid-season patch notes for March 10. Of the tank heroes, D.Va, Hazard, Ramattra, and Roadhog have updates alongside the relatively new damage heroes Anran, Emre, and Vendetta. As for the supports, only Illari, Jetpack Cat, and Mizuki have some balance changes.
According to the Overwatch developers, this patch is lighter in scope overall since changes to the newer heroes were made earlier in Season 1. This patch finetunes the Medic, Bruiser, and Initiator subroles as well.

Overwatch patch notes today: Tank buffs and nerfs
This patch includes a nerf to D.Va’s Boosters cooldown. It also changes Hazard’s subrole from Stalwart to Initiator to support a more aggressive and sustain-focused playstyle. Ramattra, meanwhile, receives buffs with a reduced Void Barrier cooldown in five-versus-five (5v5) modes plus increased Annihilation damage. As for Roadhog, he has a slight damage buff.

Overwatch patch notes: DPS changes
Next, Anran’s Inferno Rush now climbs small ledges and has increased jump height. Emre’s Altered Vitals also triggers faster while Vendetta’s minor Siphoning Strike perk is now a major perk. Raging Storm, meanwhile, is now a minor perk.

OW patch notes: Support heroes
In terms of the support heroes, there are nerfs to Illari’s Solar Rifle secondary fire plus Summer Solstice and Sunburn perks. Jetpack Cat’s Territorial perk is now removed as well. “Territorial has been removed due to high offensive potential with limited counterplay,” according to the developers. In addition to this, Jetpack Cat’s Claws Out perk is now a major one with a shorter cooldown while the new Ulterior Motive minor perk helps with fuel recovery. Finally, Mizuki gets updates to his Remedy Aura passive.
