The Overwatch Hello Kitty event is now live with brand-new challenges and adorable rewards. Here’s how to unlock the rewards quickly.
Overwatch Season 1 has arrived with a slew of new and exciting content, including the Hello Kitty event! This event lets you earn a bunch of free, in-game cosmetics that pair quite nicely with the new Hello Kitty skins for Juno, Kiriko, Mercy, D.Va, Widowmaker, and Lucio. Read on for all of the Overwatch Hello Kitty event challenges and rewards.
Overwatch Hello Kitty event challenges
Overwatch's Hello Kitty and Friends event runs from Feb. 10 to Feb. 24, giving you about two weeks to complete 13 challenges in total. Progress toward these challenges can easily be gained by completing Overwatch matches. However, wins in the Stadium game mode do grant double the progress. This means it's four times the progress if you win a Stadium match.
The challenges have different names as well, but they're basically all the same. Additionally, instead of completing five games, some of them require completing 10 of them.
Overwatch Hello Kitty event rewards
The Hello Kitty event rewards, however, are different. You unlock the Keroppi Skate spray after playing your first five games. The next five games grant you the Cute Keroppi x Lucio name card. Challenge completion doesn't stack, so if you'd like to add all of the adorable sprays, name cards, plus the True Friend player title to your collection, then you should continue completing Overwatch matches.

While doing these Overwatch's Hello Kitty event challenges, you can also gain some progress toward the ones from the Conquest event. The first week of this Talon versus Overwatch event runs from Feb. 10 to Feb. 17.
