Team Overwatch won the faction war.
The five-week Conquest event just concluded with the Overwatch faction coming out on top. With the Talon faction defeated, all players can now log in and claim the New Era Echo skin for free.

Overwatch Conquest Meta event: Overwatch wins
Over the past five weeks, players have been duking it out in a faction war. They had to choose between team Overwatch and Talon. While Talon had a strong start in Week 1, both sides traded victories in the following weeks. The final week then ended on March 17 with a win for team Overwatch.
“Congrats to both factions for giving it their all and thank you to everyone who joined each week to make the event truly unforgettable,” the game’s official social media account stated on X. The post was accompanied by a “Hope Wins!” poster featuring Winston.
How to get the New Era Echo skin in Overwatch
Since team Overwatch claimed the most wins and therefore overall victory, players can simply now log in and claim the New Era Echo skin. This New Era Echo skin is of the epic rarity and features Overwatch’s blue color palette.
To show it off in matches, simply visit the in-game hero gallery, select Echo, select the skin, and press the “Equip” button.

More Overwatch skins
In addition to the New Era Echo skin, players can add other ones to the collection by visiting the in-game shop. What’s special about the rotation for March 17 is the return of Maximilien’s Vault. The items in this vault depend on each player’s account data. In our case, we’ve been playing a lot of Lifeweaver and Kiriko recently. Therefore, our offerings reflect that.

Players can also check out the Overwatch esports shop for even more skins. The new Elysian Keeper OWCS Crowdfunding Mega Bundle, in particular, includes skins for Lifeweaver, Wuyang, and Reinhardt. It also features weapon charms, name cards, and player icons.
According to Blizzard Entertainment, this crowdfunding bundle supports the Overwatch Champion Series (OWCS) Champions Clash prize pool.

That’s all for now. Stick around on esports.gg for more Overwatch news and updates.
