Activision Blizzard’s Overwatch 2 has seen a rocky start so far. After going live on October 4, the game has been plagued by DDOS issues with thousands of players unable to get access to the server. Regardless, the hype around the game is at an all time high and players can’t wait to get their hands on their favorite heroes. However, many players are also reporting that their pre-ordered Overwatch 2 Watchpoint Packs have not been applied to the game.
Overwatch 2 has been overwhelmed by the massive number of players queueing up for the game. With DDOS attacks and server issues, there have been players reporting queues of upto 40,000. While some players have patiently waited out the queues, there’s been a long list of players that have given up. Meanwhile, users that pre-ordered the Overwatch 2 Watchpoint pack also report some issues with their orders. Mainly, the Watchpoint packs have not been applied to the game and as a result, users have not gotten the various benefits of their early orders.
Before the game launched, players had the option to buy Overwatch 2 Watchpoint pack for $40. The Watchpoint pack Space Raider Cassidy and Space Raider Soldier 76, 2,000 Overwatch Coins, Season 1 premium battle pass and more. Moreover, for new players, the Watchpoint pack would have enabled the entire hero lineup.
How to fix ‘missing Overwatch 2 Watchpoint Pack’?
Possible Solutions:
- Restart Overwatch
- Attempt to buy something (but don't actually buy it)
- Wait
You could also uninstall Overwatch and reinstall, but that has not proven to work so far. Our best advice would be to wait till Blizzard releases a fix.
With the DDOS attacks and server issues, there’s been quite a few problems with Overwatch 2’s launch. You are not alone in not receiving the Overwatch 2 coins or cosmetics in the pack.
Activision Blizzard forums are full of other players also reporting similar issues. Some players have reported receiving their currencies some time after launching the game for the first time. So if you have not received your Watchpoint pack benefits, don’t be alarmed.

Activision Blizzard is working overtime to fix various problems with the new game's launch, including many cosmetics and progressions not transferring.
Update: October 6: An official Overwatch blogpost acknowledged that users are not seeing their content in-game and there will be a fix soon.
We have seen relogging into the game resolve this issue in most cases.
We urge users that face problems in applying their Watchpoint pack to their Overwatch accounts to logout and re-login.
