While Genji looked like a knight, Orisa appeared to be a griffin. As for Reinhardt, Blizzard confirmed that he will get the fantasy Demon Lord Reinhardt skin! The video also featured Tracer as an elf. This Tracer skin will actually be a part of her mythic skin for the season.

Although Tracer's mythic skin will be unlockable through the Overwatch 2 Season 5 Battle Pass, the means of acquiring the remaining featured skins are unknown at the moment.

Overwatch 2 Season 5 roadmap

The fifth season of the game will involve Questwatch as a new limited-time event. Other features will include a cinematic reveal, the Summer Games, some five-versus-five action, and more. There will be "Mischief & Magic" happening as well, which further emphasizes the fantasy theme.

Blizzard also posted the roadmaps for Season 6 and Season 7. When this was first revealed, players were unhappy about the change in plans for Overwatch 2 PvE.

"Rather than doing a big one-time PvE release and rather than pouring all of our efforts into these singular releases, we're planning to make co-op gameplay and co-op experiences just part of our live roadmap," game director Aaron Keller explained. "So we want you to be able to experience it more often and with more variety than we had originally announced."
