Season 13 of Overwatch 2 kicks off on Oct. 15, as confirmed by Blizzard in the official Season 13 trailer. Blizzard also confirmed this in an official announcement.

In the Overwatch 2 Spellbinder season, players can enter Junkenstein’s Laboratory as part of the Halloween Terror event. Junkenstein’s Laboratory is a new player-versus-player (PvP) game mode that features talent cards. These cards alter the abilities of heroes such as Moira, Reinhardt, and Mercy. Meanwhile, the Season 13 mythics include the Spellbinder Widowmaker skin and Mythic Deliverance Soldier: 76 weapon skin.

Don't forget about the Overwatch 2 x My Hero Academia collaboration and new shop bundles. Other exciting features of the upcoming season include Gilded Aspects in the Mythic Shop and the Season 13 Battle Pass with lots of rewards.

"And for the first time, you can enhance your fully maxed out Mythic Hero Skins with the prestigious Gilded Aspects from the Mythic Shop, launching with sleek black and gold color variants," Blizzard explained.

In terms of map updates, those are slated for Circuit Royale, Dorado, Havana, and Numbani.

At the end of the Season 13 trailer, we can see some graffiti with the words "Phreaks" and "Fight Back" alongside a drawing of an omnic. We can also hear a voice say "It's looking like a revolution." This could be a hint of what's to arrive soon.
