The new season arrived on August 20, 2024 at 11 a.m. PT, which was also 2 p.m. ET, 7 p.m. BST, and 8 p.m. CEST. Players can now launch the game and jump into the fray as Juno. This new support hero is playable in the game's ranked mode as well.

In addition to Juno's arrival, the new season features a slew of exciting content and updates, including the Mythic Anubis Reaper skin, a mid-year rank reset, Flashpoint updates, Avoid a Teammate improvements, possible World of Warcraft collaboration, the Hanaoka and Throne of Anubis Clash maps, and the Premium and Ultimate Battle Passes with exclusive skins and tier skips.
Other highlights within the season include the Midnight Sun Ana weapon skin, Lifeweaver updates, new Hero Mastery missions for Zarya and Pharah, the Overwatch 2 Anniversary 2024 event, plus returning game modes such as Mirrorwatch and the one from April Fools' Day.
Don't forget about the new shop skins for several heroes such as Genji, D.Va, Pharah, Mercy, Echo, Kiriko, and Soldier: 76.
