With Season 12 of Overwatch 2 right around the corner, the community is ready for any kind of announcement regarding the upcoming season. In a potential leak earlier today, it seems like the Overwatch 2 community got what they were wishing for with a potential leak. There's palpable hype in the community with theories of which hero is receiving the new Mythic skin.

Overwatch 2 season 12 leaks
The first instances of the leak were found by a Twitter user called eggiechris. They found the leak as an Xbox advertisement for the upcoming season of Overwatch 2. The image of the leak seems to feature the upcoming featured skins in the Season 12 Battle Pass. Additionally, the advertisement mentions a new game mode called Clash.
The Season 12 advertisement calls it "New Frontiers". However, with the image leak, it seems like the Battle Pass will have an Egyptian theme. The featured skins for the Season 12 Battle Pass are for Genji, Kiriko, and Echo. While on the other hand, it would seem that the Mythic skin of Season 12 of Overwatch is for Reaper. He sports quite the fearsome Anubis skin with a red aura surrounding him. Which has been theorized could be changeable with how mythic skins change colors.
The season 12 leak of Overwatch 2 also features the used artwork of Juno, furthering the credibility of the leak. However, in the initial tweet, it was claimed that the leak was an Xbox advertisement. However, this is not official, so this could all be a ruse. Regardless, the hype and excitement surrounding the tweet just goes to show how excited the community is about the upcoming season.
