The next season of Overwatch 2 is almost here. According to hints and confirmations from Blizzard, the upcoming season features the brand-new Runasapi map, a reworked Colosseo, the Ashe mythic, a Reinhardt mythic weapon skin, and so much more. Season 11 of Overwatch 2 kicks off on June 20, as confirmed by Blizzard in the official Season 11: Super Mega Ultrawatch trailer. Blizzard also confirmed this in an official announcement.

In the new season, Runasapi debuts as a new Push map set in Peru. This map features Illari and her world of Inti Warriors. Overwatch 2 Season 11 also introduces a Colosseo rework and the Super Mega Ultrawatch theme with new skins. Meanwhile, the Pink Mercy skin is making a return!

Don't forget about the Overwatch 2 x Transformers collaboration. Other exciting features of the new season include Summer Games 2024, pickable passives in Quickplay: Hacked, the arrival of Ashe's mythic skin, the Reinhardt mythic weapon skin, and more.

"Season 11 will introduce Runasapi, the new Push map set against the stunning backdrop of Peru in the world of Illari and the Inti Warriors. We're reworking some existing maps as well. Season 11 will also bring a reworked Colosseo," an official Blizzard post confirmed.

The post also hinted at possible changes to the Dorado, Circuit Royale, Havana, and Numbani maps in Overwatch 2.

"We’re working on significant updates for these maps, so keep letting us know what other maps you would like us to look at in the future," Blizzard stated.

While Overwatch 2 Season 10 introduced Venture, Blizzard has not mentioned any new heroes for the upcoming season. However, a new character with the codename "Space Ranger" is confirmed to arrive in Overwatch 2 Season 12, as revealed at BlizzCon 2023.
