Overwatch 2 offers free tier skips ahead of Season 16

If you haven't already completed your Overwatch 2 Season 15 Battle Pass, it's a great time to start working on it. This is because Season 16 is slated to launch on April 22, which is just about a week away. From now through April 18, you can visit the game's dedicated category on Twitch, watch content on an eligible channel, and earn up to five free Overwatch 2 drops. These drops are in the form of free tier skips, and you get one tier skip per hour of content watched. Make sure to connect your Twitch and Battle.net accounts, too.

After collecting the items via Twitch's inventory page, simply launch Overwatch 2 to have your Season 15 Battle Pass go up five tiers. It should be noted, however, that if you've already completed 80 levels of the Battle Pass, then those tier skips are banked for the next season. This is because tier skips don't work for the prestige levels. The highest prestige tier is 200. For Season 15, the reward for reaching 200 is the Kingdom Overlord player title.

Beyond tier skips, there are other ways to level up the Overwatch 2 Battle Pass. These include completing matches, doing daily, weekly, event, and lifetime challenges, and simply purchasing some tier skips through the in-game shop.

At times, Overwatch 2 offers double or even triple the Battle Pass XP. Whenever this is available, the game notifies you via the main menu.
