Overwatch 2 x Nerf joins lineup of other iconic collaborations

This isn't the first time that Overwatch 2 is collaborating with a brand. Previously, the franchise worked with Porsche to create D.Va and Pharah skins. That collaboration also featured a life-sized statue of D.Va's Porsche skin, which was on display at Brazos Hall in Austin, TX.

More recent Overwatch 2 collaborations include G.I. Joe, Street Fighter 6, Gundam Wing, and Avatar: The Last Airbender. Meanwhile, crossovers with My Hero Academia, Transformers, Cowboy Bebop, LE SSERAFIM, and One-Punch Man were also favorites among fans. Blizzard Entertainment even created crossovers between its own franchises such as Overwatch 2 x World of Warcraft and Overwatch 2 x Diablo 4.

In terms of future crossovers, the company recently sent out a survey about a lot of potential ones. According to OWCavalry on X, the survey asked about Devil May Cry, Kingdom Hearts, Jujutsu Kaisen, Hello Kitty, League of Legends, Batman, Fallout, Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Resident Evil, and so much more.

At the time of publishing this article, it's unknown whether some or all of the collaborations in the survey will happen for Overwatch 2. However, it's fun to think about them and the possibility of unique game modes and new skins.
