How Overwatch 2 Lucioball works

There are two versions of this game mode to choose from during the Overwatch 2 Summer Games 2023 event. These include just Lucioball and Lucioball Remix. Both of these options require two teams of three players.

Lucioball has one ball, but the Remix version has two of them. Additionally, Lucioball Remix has bonus ones that appear in the middle of the game to cause even more chaos! In both game modes, an instant replay happens whenever a player scores a goal.

How to win in Overwatch 2 Lucioball

While Lucioball requires five goals to win, Lucioball Remix needs 10 goals. Victory is also granted to the team that has the most points before the four-minute timer runs out. In terms of the winning strategy, players should make use of the healer's abilities, passive, and Lucioball-specific ultimate. Players can also designate a teammate as their goalie.

To move the ball, use Strike or Soundwave. Players can even move across the field faster by using Lucio's Wall Ride passive. The Turbo Boost ultimate also amplifies movement speed while making Lucio jump higher.

Winning a match in either Lucioball or Lucioball Remix means doubling the progress in the Overwatch 2 Summer Games event challenges. This means getting closer to extra Battle Pass XP, skins, and other in-game items.
