Sun’s out, guns out! Here’s everything to know about the Overwatch 2 Summer Games event challenges, rewards, and more.

The Overwatch 2 Summer Games 2023 event is here! In addition to the highly-coveted Lifeguard Mercy skin, this event features a free Tropical Doomfist skin, victory pose, Lucioball weapon charm, sprays, player icons, and lots of Overwatch 2 Season 5 Battle Pass XP! Overwatch 2 Summer Games event

Between July 11 through July 25, players can participate in the event. It features in-game cosmetics and Arcade modes such as Winston's Beach VolleyBall and Lucioball. There are also 10 limited-time challenges to complete for rewards.

Overwatch 2 Summer Games challenges

To access the limited-time challenges, select the "Summer Games 2023" option in the main menu. Then, press the "Challenges" button to check out the different requirements.

Here's the list of event challenges, requirements, and rewards:

Rewards include an epic Tropical Doomfist skin, a Doomfist victory pose, a weapon charm, plus a bunch of sprays and player icons. There's also up to 50,000 Battle Pass XP!

How to get the free Tropical Doomfist skin

To obtain the epic Tropical Doomfist skin, complete a total of six event challenges. You can gain progress by completing matches, playing Winston's Beach Volleyball and Lucioball, and doubling your progress by winning games.

After you unlock the Doomfist skin, just visit the "Hero" section in the main menu, select Doomfist, and scroll down to the new skin. Press the "Equip" button to show off his summer outfit!
