Overwatch 2 is celebrating Valentine's Day with the new Loverwatch dating simulator! It features the characters Genji, Mercy, and Hanzo. Read on for details.
Overwatch 2 dating sim
Loverwatch is available from Feb . 13 to Feb. 28. During this time, Overwatch 2 players can check out a text-based game. The Overwatch 2 dating simulator lets you date either Mercy or Genji, according to Blizzard.
In the game, you can select dialogue options to interact with these characters. Meanwhile, Cupid Hanzo plays the part of wingman. If you unlock the secret ending, then you'll get a special play of the game highlight!
As for how to access Loverwatch, visit this website to play it. In addition to English, the Overwatch 2 dating simulator is available in Japanese, Korean, French, German, and Spanish. The text-based game lasts about 30 minutes. Make sure to log in with your Battle.net account as well.

What is Loverwatch?
Blizzard made it clear that Loverwatch is non-canon, which means it doesn't go with the established lore of Overwtch 2. This was stated in the original announcement and in a gift that the team sent to a member of the Overwatch 2 community.
"We made an Overwatch dating sim," the card sent to player erinfps420 stated. "Yes, it's real. No it's not canon."
The gift also included a bunch of heart-shaped sweets to commemorate Valentine's Day. They featured references to Mercy, Genji, and Hanzo such as:
- Love never dies
- Pocket me?
- Mercy loves you
- My love can't be nerfed
- I need heeling
- Hanzo loves you
Overwatch 2 Ultimate Valentine's event
The festivities don't end there as players can look forward to even more Valentine's Day shenanigans starting Feb. 14. The Overwatch 2 Ultimate Valentine's event features a Hanzo four-versus-four limited-time mode. It also has support-themed challenges that grants players two epic skins and other in-game items.
