Illari has arrived in Overwatch 2 as a Peruvian hero who wields the power of the sun! There are a bunch of in-game rewards that celebrate her arrival. Read on for the list of every Overwatch 2 Illari launch event challenge and reward.
Overwatch 2 Illari launch event
The Overwatch 2 Illari event runs from Aug. 10 to Aug. 22. This means you have 11 days to play the character and earn some rewards. Progress is earned by playing the game in No Limits mode or the brand-new Flashpoint PvP game mode. You can also simply play regular PvP games to earn some progress.

Illari's launch event features six challenges in total. Completing these means rewards such as Battle Pass XP, the Face the Sunrise spray, Flaring Up highlight intro, and the Stare Down victory pose.

How to enter the Illari event
Access this limited-time event by launching Overwatch 2 and click on the "Illari Launch Event" option in the main menu. You can then browse through the different challenges and check your progress by pressing the "Challenges" button. Victories grant double the progress.
To access either the Flashpoint or No Limits game mode, simply press the "Play" button located near the bottom-right corner of the screen. Alternatively, you can select "Play" in the main menu, press "Arcade," and jump into your game mode of choice.
