After months of teasing, Blizzard Entertainment has officially revealed the name of Overwatch 2 Hero 45. It's Vendetta! The reveal just arrived in the form of the Overwatch 2 Hero 45 trailer. Here's everything to know about Vendetta in Overwatch 2!

On Nov. 17, Overwatch 2 released the hero trailer called "La Lupa" for Vendetta. The trailer kicked off with Hero 45 looking at the crowd while thinking about her father. She then revealed that she has become quite the celebrity in the arena, earning the reputation of "La Lupa," or "The Wolf."
As she fought her opponent, Vendetta recalled how she hated the moniker at first, but eventually embraced being the arena's villain. She remembered that her father taught her that, in a way, fear is a weapon. He helped her temper her wild and reckless nature with patience and guidance, teaching her the value of knowing her enemy and turning their greatest strengths into their weaknesses.
Overwatch 2 Vendetta lore is linked to Blackwatch
Interestingly, as a chess piece fell, members of Blackwatch showed up in the background of the new Overwatch 2 Vendetta trailer. These included Gabriel Reyes, now known as Reaper, plus Cassidy, Moira, and Genji, indicating Blackwatch's involvement with her father's death during the Retribution mission.
Now, Vendetta still sees her father's enemies as her enemies. However, she's also so much more. Her recklessness has become focused rage, and she’s fully embraced that she is "The Wolf." She is "La Lupa." And she will take back everything that was stolen from them.
