Overwatch 2 Mauga event details

The Old Buddies spray from the Mauga event is also a reference to the relationship between Mauga and Baptiste. The latter hero was once part of Talon.

Prior to Mauga's official introduction at BlizzCon 2023, players theorized the character's eventual arrival to the game. Not only was Mauga featured in Baptiste's backstory, but his presence was hinted at in the Samoa map.

As for Mauga's release date in Overwatch 2, he will arrive on Dec. 5.
