It’s time to earn these Drive rewards before the end of Overwatch 2 Season 14.

The new Overwatch 2 Competitive Drive event is now live for the end of Season 14, giving ranked players some shiny Drive Signatures that they can earn and show off.

Overwatch 2 Competitive Drive for Season 14

Between Feb. 11 and Feb. 16, Overwatch 2 players can enter the Competitive Play Role Queue game mode and increase their Drive Score. The reward? Some Competitive Points and Drive Signatures. Drive Signatures are those shiny borders around players' names. What's special about this particular Competitive Drive event is that players can earn extra Competitive Points.

"From February 11 to 16, every match matters as you earn double Competitive Point bonuses, with the opportunity to collect up to a whopping 6,000 Competitive Points during this limited-time event," Blizzard explained.

How Competitive Drive events work in Overwatch 2

Competitive Drives refer to limited-time Overwatch 2 events for ranked players. Near the end of this season, players can increase their Drive Score for Competitive Points and different Drive Signatures.

Once a player reaches a checkpoint in their Drive Score meter, that score won't fall below that checkpoint. For Season 14, players can increase their Drive Score by duking it out in Competitive Play Role Queue.

How to get a higher Drive Score in Overwatch 2

An Overwatch 2 player's Drive Score is based on their rank progress and whether they're in a party or not. Victories contribute to 10 times a player's rank progress. Meanwhile, defeats subtract three times a player's rank progress. A player also gets a 50 Drive Score bonus after claiming a match victory in a party.

For example, if a player is in a party and wins a match, they earn 20x10 Drive Score to total 200. Since they're in a party, they receive a 50-point bonus, bringing their total to 250.

That's all for now. We hope you enjoy the rest of Season 14. Stick around on esports.gg for more Overwatch 2 news and updates!
