Luka Dončić joins Overwatch 2 with new Stadium builds and billboards worldwide!

Blizzard Entertainment has revealed the details for a new campaign featuring NBA All-Star Luka Dončić, who is also known as "Sharpshooter 77." This Overwatch 2 x Luka collaboration features the Fadeaway Fan Cassidy, Luka Dunkcic Lúcio, and Hooper Trooper Zarya builds and more. Read on for everything to know about it!

This Luka collaboration will be centered around Overwatch 2's Stadium game mode. As part of the campaign, Luka Dončić will appear on Overwatch-themed billboards in Los Angeles and Dallas. Fans in Los Angeles will see the billboards around the Crypto.com Arena and LA Live while Dallas will feature them near the American Airlines Center. In Katowice, Poland, Luka will also be featured while competing in EuroBasket with the Slovenian national team.

“Many have seen how competitive I am on the basketball court, but you may not know that I’m just as competitive when I'm playing Overwatch,” Luka Dončić said. "I love this game, and am excited about this partnership. It’s special to be in the game in a way that other players can be part of.” 

According to Blizzard Entertainment, Luka Dončić is an avid Overwatch 2 player who has achieved the Grandmaster rank. Since the launch of Stadium mode earlier this year, he has also been honing his skills and climbed into the Top 500 in North America.

As noted, this Overwatch 2 x NBA crossover will feature Stadium builds for Cassidy, Lúcio, and Zarya. The Sharpshooter 77 player title, a golden basketball weapon charm, plus a special spray will be part of this collaboration as well.

In terms of the Overwatch 2 x Luka release date, Blizzard Entertainment stated on X that it will arrive in Overwatch 2 Season 18 on Aug. 26.
