Overwatch 2’s latest hero is Lifeweaver, the Thai tree-hugging support. Lifeweaver is the first Overwatch 2 character from Thailand and his voice lines often feature English as well as Thai. Blizzard brought in someone from Thailand to voice the 37th hero to be added to the game. Here’s what we know about Phuwin Tangsakyuen, the Lifeweaver voice actor in Overwatch 2.
Who is the Lifeweaver Overwatch 2 voice actor?
Phuwin Tangsakyuen is Lifeweaver’s voice actor in Overwatch 2. The 19-year-old Thai actor portrays a mix of confidence and often flirts with other Overwatch 2 heroes to match his Overwatch 2 character’s persona.
Phuwin Tangsakyuen is best known for Pi Pattawee in Fish Upon the Sky, a Thai comedy boys' love series from 2021. He might be a voice actor in Overwatch 2, but he has acted in several TV series such as The Gifted: Graduation, Never Let me go, and of course Fish Upon the Sky.
Lifeweaver is Overwatch 2’s first pansexual hero. The character is confident and doesn't shy away from his identity in his interactions with other members of the Overwatch.

Activision Blizzard developers have been inclusive in their hero designs from the very beginning. During the release of the original Overwatch, fans found out Tracer had a girlfriend named Emily. Blizzard has also confirmed Soldier 76 is queer.
“From the beginning, we’ve wanted the universe of Overwatch to feel welcoming and inclusive, and to reflect the diversity of our players around the world. As with any aspect of our characters’ backgrounds, their sexuality is just one part of what makes our heroes who they are,” Overwatch 2 devs mentioned to IGN.com.
Meanwhile, you can catch up on Lifeweaver’s abilities, such as Petal Platform. This ability can move entire teams to high grounds and reposition quickly. The ability that might act as an ultimate saving grace for erratic teammates, Life Grip can save teammates when they suddenly find themselves surrounded by five enemies and are probably shouting in their mic — “Where’s my team?” Well, now you have an answer.
