Since the release of Overwatch 2, a few characters have joined the game's roster of LGBTQ+ heroes. Read on for the list of every LGBTQ+ character in Overwatch 2!

Overwatch 2 currently has six confirmed in-game characters who are LGBTQ+. These are Tracer, Soldier: 76, Lifeweaver, Pharah, Baptiste, and Venture.

Tracer and Emily are girlfriends in Overwatch 2

Tracer is a lesbian in the game. This is shown in the "Reflections" comic from 2016 — the same year that the first iteration of Overwatch came out. In the comic, Tracer has a girlfriend named Emily. Tracer travels around London in search of a Christmas present for her. When she arrives home, they both share a kiss.

The Watchpoint: Gibraltar map also has a photo in the barracks of Tracer and Emily. The couple appears on the Lena and Emily spray for Tracer as well.

Soldier: 76 had a boyfriend

Solider: 76 is a gay character in Overwatch 2. This is evident in the "Bastet" short story from 2019. Both Soldier: 76 and his former boyfriend Vincent identify as gay.

In the short story, Ana goes through Solider: 76's items and sees an old photo of him and Vincent. Michael Chu, who wrote the story, also confirmed their relationship on social media.

Lifeweaver is openly pansexual

Lifeweaver is Overwatch 2’s first hero who is openly pansexual. This is indicated in an official video from 2023, his in-game voice lines, and conversations with other heroes. One of these heroes is Baptiste.

"We're also excited because he's an openly pansexual character," Blizzard confirmed in the official video. "And you'll see this reflected in his voice lines, conversations, and other content."

Pharah is a proud lesbian

Pharah is a lesbian in Overwatch 2. The 2023 "As You Are" short story shows this through a conversation between her and Baptiste.

“No, definitely not. Cole and I have known each other for a long time. He’s like a brother to me. And besides, I’m a lesbian,” Pharah said in the short story.

Baptiste is bisexual

Baptiste is a bisexual character in the game. In the same "As You Are" short story, he and Pharah enter a conversation and have a moment of understanding and recognition. He also shows some interest in Cole Cassidy.

"You’ll find a lesbian card for Tracer, a gay card for Soldier: 76, a pansexual card for Lifeweaver, as well as a bisexual card for Baptiste and a lesbian card for Pharah," Blizzard also confirmed in a post.

Venture uses they/them pronouns

During a BlizzCon 2023 panel, Overwatch 2 game director Aaron Keller used these pronouns for Venture. Overwatch 2 technical artist Ana Martínez then confirmed this on social media. Venture's trailer also confirmed their pronouns.
